Only a few days after Sony officially released the mega beastly 80gig PS3, HMV have put up another pre-order PS3. It’s another console - a whopping 160GB PS3 will go on sale on
Halloween (31-Oct-08). For those who didn't know the PS3's hard drive is interchangeable, so PS3 owners can upgrade hard-disk size with the same ~~spook~~ spec disk as those in a laptop: SATA 2.5" HDD, with a maximum size of 500GB

PlayTv

PlayTv is due for launch at the end of this month in the UK. PlayTv provides a method to receive and record digital Television for replay via PS3 and PlayTv. Hence more PS3 disk space will be required for using your games console as a full-blown one-for-all entertainment center. PlayTv has already notched up one bad review, much to my surprise, the main points of complaint are the DRM, and the playback quality of recording is apparently over digitized (RE: Greg Howson, Gaurdian).
